Calling Line Identification Presentation +CLIP
Set command enables or disables the presentation of the CLI (Calling Line Identity) at the TE. This command refers
to the GSM supplementary service CLIP (Calling Line Identification Presentation) that enables a called subscriber to
get the CLI of the calling party when receiving a mobile terminated call.
Read command returns the presentation status of the CLI in the format:
+CLIP: <n>,<m>
where:
<n>
0 ‐ CLI presentation disabled
1 ‐ CLI presentation enabled
<m> ‐ status of the CLIP service on the GSM network
0 ‐ CLIP not provisioned
1 ‐ CLIP provisioned
2 ‐ unknown (for Examples no network is present )
Note: This command issues a status request to the network, hence it may take a few seconds to give the answer
due to the time needed to exchange data with it.
Test command returns the supported values for <n>.
