For applications with high current controller dynamics, the pilot control for the current
controller can be adjusted under C0074:

Speed controller adjustment

The speed controller of the ECS is designed as an ideal PID controller.

Conditions for the speed controller adjustment:

ƒ

The speed controller can only be set correctly when the system constellation has
been completed.

ƒ

The current controller is set correctly (given with a Lenze motor and setting via
motor data input assistant in the GDC) .

ƒ

The PE connection of the axis module is sufficient so that the actual values are not
"noisy".

ƒ

There are as few as possible elasticity and backlash between drive and load.

ƒ

The maximum current C0022 and the maximum speed C0011 are set to the values
required for the operation. Due to the scaling of the input and output variables of
the speed controller, C0011 and C0022 have an impact on the controller settings.

ƒ

The time constant for the actual speed value filter C0497 is set to the required value
(usually remains in default setting).

In GDC, you can find the codes for adjusting the speed controller in the parameter menu
under Controller settings

W Speed/position.
