a. Move the robot to that position.

b. Click Here to record the robot position.

c. Click Next.

14. Set the Target Region of Interest.

a. Place a target in the camera's field of view.

b. Click Run to take a picture.

c. Verify that a magenta marker is displayed on the image of the target.

Adjust the Region of Interest, if needed, until the part is located.

d. Click Next.

15. Teach the pick position.

a. Move the robot to the position where parts will be picked up.

b. Click Here to record the robot position.

c. Click Next.

16. Start the Automated Calibration by clicking Start.

This will take a picture of the part, then pick and move the part. These steps will be
repeated about 20 times.

While the Automated Calibration is in progress, the Task Control box will provide infor-
mation on what is being calibrated.

When the Task Control box says that the calibration is completed, click Next.

17. The Sample will display a calibration summary.

Click Next.

18. Application Sample Completed indicates that the sample completed successfully.

Click Finish.

Load and Run Sample Code

1. Load the program into Task 0.

a. From the AdeptSight window, open the AdeptSight Controller Development

Tools window:

View > Controller Development Tools > [your COM port]

b. Click the Task Manager tab in the Controller Development Tools window.
