Install Menus Overview
DD Modes
Selects the operating behavior of the Kayak’s Keyer and E-MEM systems.
A default setting (button not illuminated) selects behavior that is closer to
that of Kalypso/Zodiak switchers.
If a
Key
or
E-Mem
DD Mode button is activated, the behavior of that system
becomes more like that of the KayakDD or XtenDD switcher systems.

Note
To avoid confusion, if the operating mode is changed you can install the cor-
responding buttons on the panel so their legends are correct, using the tool
provided with your system.
Load / Save Install Data
Note
The Save button is grayed out (inoperable) if a USB stick is not present in a
supported control panel USB port. The Load button is grayed out if no USB
stick is present or if no files are available to load from the USB stick. USB
ports labeled SPARE are not supported.
The
Load
and
Save
buttons are used to load/save frame Install configuration
settings to or from a USB flash drive.
