ACOS Protocol
The ACOS (Automation Control System) protocol is designed to facilitate
communication between a Thomson Grass Valley production switcher and
a control system.
The communication is from the control system to the production switcher.
The control system may issue actions in the production switcher (e.g. cros-
spoint changes) and receive responses.
With software version V693 the protocol is extended with:
• Tally Out
• 48 Aux busses
Note In the current ACOS implementation only RED tally (OnAir) is supported.
