Method 1
With a normal addressing device (equipped with
an M12 plug for connection to the AS-i bus) the
AS-i can be integrated into the AS-i network via
a suitable access point. The prerequisite for this
is that the AS-i master can be switched off.
Method 2
With an addressing unit (equipped with an M12
plug for connection to the AS-i bus and an
additional M12 plug for an external power
supply), the addressing unit can be directly
connected into the AS-i cable.
NOTE
With the versions SK 220E and SK 230E a battery-operated addressing device is
sufficient.
