get_read_data_burst()

This blocking task gets a read data burst previously created by the

create_monitor_transaction()

function.

It calls the

get_read_addr_ready()

task for each beat of the data burst, with the length of the

burst defined by the transaction record burst_length field.

AXI3 Example

// Declare a local variable to hold the transaction record.
axi_transaction read_trans;

// Create a monitor transaction and assign it to the local
// read_trans variable.
read_trans = bfm.create_monitor_transaction();

....

// Get the read data burst of read_trans transaction.
bfm.get_read_data_burst(read_trans);

AXI4 Example

// Declare a local variable to hold the transaction record.
axi4_transaction read_trans;

// Create a monitor transaction and assign it to the local
// read_trans variable.
read_trans = bfm.create_monitor_transaction();

....

// Get the read data burst of the read_trans transaction.
bfm.get_read_data_burst(read_trans);
