pop_transaction_id()

September 2013

pop_transaction_id()

This nonblocking (unless queue is empty) procedure pops a transaction ID from the front of a
queue. The transaction is uniquely identified by the transaction_id argument previously created
by either the

create_write_transaction()

or

create_read_transaction()

procedure. The queue is

identified by the queue_id argument.

If the queue is empty then it will block until an entry becomes available.
