Description Enables or disables the reminder ring splash timer to start as soon as you
put a call on hold (even when no other calls are active on the phone).
When enabled, the phone initiates a reminder ring splash periodically for
the single call on hold. When disabled, no reminder ring splash is audible.

Parameter –
call hold reminder timer Configuration Files aastra.cfg, <model>.cfg, <mac>.cfg
Description Specifies the time delay, in seconds, that a ring splash is heard on an
active call when another call was placed on hold. For example, if a call
comes into Line 1, and then a call comes into Line 2 and you answer Line
2, Line 1 is automatically placed on hold. While on the active Line 2, after
7 seconds, a ring splash audio sounds on the line reminding you that the
call on Line 1 is still on hold. This timer begins to increment after Line 2 is
answered.
Notes:
1. This parameter is used with the “call hold reminder frequency”
parameter.
2. You must enable this “call hold reminder timer” parameter for it to work.
3. A value of “0” disables the call hold reminder feature.
