3. The PCMCIA signal, nIOIS16, is not supported. The IO width can be determined by reading the card

attribute memory, and programming the IO space registers accordingly.

External logic, as shown in

, is required to connect some PCMCIA card signals to

the processor. Other PCMCIA card signals, also shown in

Figure 12-5

, connect directly to the

processor.
