. If the message:
MAXIMUM NODE ADDRESS VIOLATION
DETECTED
appears, this informs you that APS has detected an active node on
the network with a node address higher than the APS maximum node address.
Note
When you cycle power to an SLC 5/01 Series A processor, the maximum node
address returns to the default selection of 31.
You cannot change the maximum node address of the terminal at this display. If you
attempt to change the address, the message
CURRENT DEVICE IS NOT A
PROCESSOR
appears.
