The write prohibited setting is used for preventing accidental changes of the parameter. All the parameters

become write prohibited by setting values. Refer to 7.2.1 List of Utility Function

Modes for details.

Setting values are as follows:

• “0000”: Write permitted (Releases write prohibited mode.)
• “0001”: Write prohibited (Parameters become write prohibited from the next power ON.)

Press the DSPL/SET Key to select the utility function mode.

Press the UP or DOWN Key to select Fn010.

Note: The enabled digit blinks.

Press the DATA/ENTER Key, and the display will be as
shown on the left.

Press the UP or DOWN Key to set a value:
“0000”: Write permitted, “0001”: Write prohibited

Press the DSPL/SET Key to register the value.
When the value is registered, the display shown on the left
blinks for about one second.

Note: If a value other than “0000” and “0001” is set,

“Error” blinks for about one second, and the previ-
ous setting is displayed.

The display changes from “donE” to “P.000†.”

Press the DATA/ENTER Key to return to the utility function
mode display Fn010.
