6.7 Define User Messages

Up to 10 user-defined messages can be created and up to 3 can be displayed at
the same time. The messages are displayed in the lower right hand corner of the
CRT. The messages are turned on and off with the Logic Statements using the
MESSAGE ON/OFF Actions. If required to display IC/5 generated messages,
these user-defined messages will be overwritten.

The User Messages display is entered by pressing the F3 key (I/O) panel from the
Program display and then pressing F3 (DEFINE USER MESSAGES).

CLEAR NAME

Pressing this key clears the Name associated
with the designated output (or input).

TOGGLE TYPE

Pressing this key toggles the relay type from
Normally Open (NO) to Normally Closed (NC).

I/O MAP DIRECTORY

Pressing this key returns the display to the I/O
Map Directory.
