This command changes the type code for a specific relay. Type code values are 0
or 1, where 0 is Normally Open and 1 is Normally Closed.

7.7.4.7 Update Logic Statements

For each command format the symbol

þ

represents a blank space.

The format is:

UL

þ

logic statement#

þ

IF

þ

(event code)

þ

THEN

þ

(action code)

This command changes the encoded conditional string assigned to a specific logic
‘device’. The string is represented in the form IF (event code) THEN (action code).
Both IF and THEN portions are always required. An Event marked with a ‘#’
requires a numeric qualifier. Codes are used to represent Events and Actions.
Multiple Events are connected with AND, OR, or ON. Parentheses show groupings
and the symbol ‘~’ is used to represent a negate. Multiple Actions are connected
with an AND.

For example, to enter into Logic Statement 24:

IF (Statement 7 or Statement 8) AND TIMR EXPIRED 14 and TIMR EXPIRED 1

THEN Message OFF 5 and Message ON 1

the command is:

UL 24 IF (43 7 OR 43 8) AND ~ 41 14 AND 41 1 THEN 22 5 AND 21 1
