5.1.1 Method - Definition
Program part: Method
Definition
In viva a method is an instruction for processing a sample, which can be
created in the Method program part and started in the Workplace pro-
gram part.
Structure
Each method contains tracks (subprograms) consisting of individual com-
mands.
Management
Methods are organized in method groups and are always automatically
assigned a new version, i.e. each time a method is stored a new version
is created. Methods are stored in the configuration database and are
globally accessible for all clients.
