Pick and Place Function

When you select an circular window and then pick the

button in

the window edit panel, the window color changes from red to green, and the

Pick & Place

panel appears, as shown in Figure 5.13.

The circular window

Pick & Place

panel contains the following data display

fields and buttons:

X Cen; Y Cen –– These two fields display, respectively, the current X
and Y coordinates of the center of the circular window.

Radius –– This field displays the window radius, in pixels.

Arrow buttons,

↑, ↓, ←, and → –– When you pick an arrow button, by

default the entire window moves one pixel in the direction of the
corresponding arrow. If, however, you have just picked and placed one
side of the window, the arrow buttons will affect that part of the window
only.

Done –– When you have set the window position and size as required for
the application, pick the

button to exit the pick and place function

and return to the tool edit (or adjust) panel.
