When you pick the Thresh/Filter field in the multiple windows tool edit
panel, the Thresh/Filter panel appears when a pixel counting operation has
been selected, while the Filter panel appears when the luminance operation
has been selected, as shown in Figure 7.159.

For pixel counting operations, the two cursors adjust the “high” and “low”
binary thresholds. In addition, the
Morph1 and Morph2 buttons provide
access to binary and gray scale morphology filters.
For luminance operations, only the Morph1 and Morph2 buttons are
available.
