Here is a brief description of the feature selection functions:
•
Mode –– The mode function selects a particular group of edges that a
gage evaluates when searching for a specified feature.
•
Dir –– The search direction function selects the direction of the search for
the specified features along the length of the gage.
•
Offset –– The offset function enables you to identify one edge, or a
midpoint between two edges, as the specified feature.
