Pick and Place Function

When you pick the
button in the window edit panel, the destination
window color changes from red to green, and the corresponding
Pick &
Place
panel appears. Since the pick and place functions for the destination
window are the same as for the rectangular window, refer to the Rectangular
Windows section on page 5–8 for details.
NOTE: The destination window should always be configured with the
vertical axis longer than the horizontal axis, since the image data is displayed
vertically. The aspect ratio should be adjusted as needed to optimize the
appearance of the part or item being inspected.
Figure 5.17 (upper part) shows how an arc ring appears in its default state.
Note that in this state the arc ring window is nearly a full circle, with the two
ends of the arc ring nearly touching at the X–axis 0
° point.

Figure 5.17 (lower part) shows where the pick and place points are located:
at the arc ring center (A), the two ends (B and C), and the midpoint between
the two ends for the outer ring (D) and the inner ring (E).
