State control of the positioning drive

"ManualJog" state
This state enables manual traversing of the drive system (manual jog/inching mode)
The following actions are executed in "ManualJog":
ƒ
Creation of motion profiles for the function "ManualJog" (manual control).
ƒ
Evaluation of the hardware limit switches during manual jog.
ƒ
Retracting from hardware limit switches.
"Homing" state
This state enables setting or automatic search of the home position.
The following actions are executed in "Homing":
ƒ
Creation of motion profiles for the function "Homing" (home position search).
ƒ
Evaluation of the hardware limit switches during the home position search.
"Positioning" state
This state enables the core function "Positioning of the drive system".
ƒ
Positioning profiles are only executed in "Positioning".
ƒ
A state change (e.g. as a result of a fault or initiated by the user) leads to an
immediate quick stop (QSP) of the drive system.
In the "positioning" state the following motion profiles for positioning are created:

Point−to−point positioning
ƒ
Touch probe positioning
ƒ
Override positioning
