Manual control to software limit position

ƒ

When the home position is known (status bit Stat1.HomePosAvailable = 1) and the
positive software limit position C3040 is set to

≠ 0 and the negative software limit

position C3041 is set to

≠ 0, manual positioning is carried out on the corresponding

software limit position:
– The drive brakes to the position of the corresponding software limit position with

the manual deceleration set (C3022), and the warning 2403 ("NegPosLimit") or
2402 ("PosPosLimit") is displayed.

– In C4046, status bit Stat2.SwLimErr is set to 1.
– This ensures that the software limit positions set cannot be passed in the

"ManualJog" state when the home position is known.

ƒ

By resetting control bits Ctrl1.JogCW or Ctrl1.JogCCW to "0", manual jog is stopped:
– The drive decelerates to standstill with the corresponding manual setting (C3022).

6.15.2

Manual control to hardware limit switch

If a hardware limit switch is approached during manual jog, the drive brakes to standstill
via the QSP deceleration time set (C0105).

ƒ

FAIL−QSP 3401 ("NegLimitSw") or 3400 ("PosLimitSw") is displayed.

ƒ

The drive changes to the "Trouble" state.

ƒ

The display of the current actual position (C3051) is limited to

±214000.0000 units. If

the maximum displayable position value is exceeded, the position display C3051
remains on the maximum value of

±214000.0000 units.
