6.17.6.1 Homing

ƒ Homing is carried out according to the selected homing mode (
¶ 179).
ƒ For homing parameters see
^ 177.
ƒ The status bit Stat1.HomePosAvailable is set to "1" after a successful execution
(monitoring of the software limit positions is activated).
6.17.6.2 Setting the reference

ƒ The current position is stored as the home position and used as the measuring
system reference.
ƒ The drive does not move.
ƒ The status bit Stat1.HomePosAvailable is set to "1" (monitoring of the software limit
position is activated).
ƒ In case of feedback system of type AM:
– When the reference is set, the controller must be inhibited (Ctrl1.Cinh = 1).
– The home position is maintained after switching off and on again the control
voltage of the drive.
Preconditions
ƒ Status bit Stat1.HomePosAvailable = 0; if required, execute the "Reset reference"
function first (see below).

ƒ The reference of the measuring system to the home position is cancelled.
ƒ The status bit Stat1.HomePosAvailable is set to "0" (monitoring of the software limit
position is deactivated).
