Fault analysis with the history buffer

The history buffer enables you to retrace faults. Fault messages are stored in the five
memory locations in the order of their occurrence. The memory locations can be retrieved
via codes C4168/1...5 and C4169/1...5.

Structure of the history buffer

ƒ

C4168/1...5 displays the five fault messages occurred last.

ƒ

C4169/1...5 displays the corresponding time based on the elapsed hour meter
C0178.

ƒ

The fields under "Current fault" show information about the active fault message.

ƒ

If the fault message is no longer active or has been reset:
– the contents of the memory locations 1 ... 5 are stored in a "higher" location.
– the contents of the memory location 5 are eliminated from the history buffer and

cannot be called any longer.

– memory location 1 is deleted (no active fault).

ƒ

The history buffer contains the following information on every fault message
occurred:
– Fault message number and response
– Time of the last occurrence

)

Note!

If several fault messages with different responses occur at the same time, only
the fault message the response of which has the highest priority is entered
into the history buffer.
