7.3 Real-Time Reference Stations

This chapter assumes that you will
use the default Real-Time Reference
File.

Set up the equipment as described in
Chapter 2. Attach the Terminal, but
only attach the radio modem if you
are sure that the port is correctly
configured. Attaching a radio modem
to an incorrectly configured port may
result in damage to the radio modem.

Switch on. The Main Menu will be
displayed. The system will automati-
cally start searching for satellites.

Select Survey and press CONT (F1).

Config Set - Defines the Configura-
tion Set to be used. The last Configu-
ration Set used or created will be
taken by default although any other
Configuration Set may be selected.

Job - Defines the Job to be used.
This is the Job where any point and
observation data will be stored.

Coord Sys - Displays the coordinate
system that will be used for the
display of coordinates. This coordi-
nate system is attached to the se-
lected Job. Press CSYS (F6) to
change the Coordinate System.
Information on determining the
coordinate system is given in section
11.1.

Antenna - Defines the Antenna setup
to be used. The Setup defined in the
Configuration Set will be taken by
default although any other setup may
be selected. For Real-Time Refer-
ence Stations, this will normally be
AT501/502 Tripod.

Press CONT (F1) when you have
made your selection.
