appear in the bottom right corner
above the softkey. It indicates that
further choices are available on the
softkeys.
At this time, the shift key appears so:
When it is pressed, it appears so:
Pressing it again will toggle back to
the original softkeys.
When a function is being carried out
that will take a significant amount of
time, the hourglass symbol (shown
below) will appear.
This indicates that the system is busy.
