1. Measurement/Stakeout of transi-
tion points of slopes for cross-

- Transition point to be measured/
staked
The Line is defined as the section
line through the terrain. You ensure
that you follow this line by observing
the Left/Right value and keeping it at
or near zero. When you arrive at a
point where the level of the terrain
begins to change, record the point.
You can also stake this point for
future reference.
