6.3.2.9 CONFIG: Msk (Alarm Masking)
CDM/R-570AL(L-Band) unit: CDM-570A (70/140 MHz) unit:
Use the ◄ ► arrow keys to select Transmit, Receive, Ref, BUC (CDM/R-570ALonly), or LNB
(CDM/R-570ALonly). Press ENTER.
6.3.2.9.1 (CONFIG: Alarm Mask) Transmit
Tx Alarm Mask: Tx-FIFO

Use the ◄ ► arrow keys to select a parameter. Press ENTER.
Each choice displays a submenu similar to the TX-FIFO submenu:
Tx-FIFO Alarm:
Active Masked (◄ ►,ENT)
Typical for each Tx Alarm submenu, use the ◄ ► arrow keys to select Active or Masked. Press
ENTER.
When you select Masked, the modem generates no alarm. When you select Active, the modem
generates a fault. For example, for the preceding TX-FIFO Tx Alarm Mask, with the mask set to
Active the modem generates a Transmit Traffic fault whenever the transmitter sees that the
Transmit FIFO has slipped.
6.3.2.9.2 (CONFIG: Alarm Mask) Receive
Rx Alarm Mask: AGC Eb/No
