Receive (Rx) Parameter Commands and Queries

Rx Priority System = RFT (Highest priority), RMD, RCR, RDR, and RSR (Lowest Priority), indicated by shading. Any change to a higher

priority parameter will override any of the lower priority parameters.

Rx FEC Type

RFT=

1 byte,

value of 0 thru 6

Command or Query.

Sets or returns Rx FEC Type in the form x, where:

0 = None (uncoded – no FEC) with differential encoding ON

1 = Viterbi

2 = Viterbi + Reed-Solomon

3 = Reserved – do not use

4 = Reserved – do not use

5 = TCM + Reed-Solomon

6 = Turbo

7 = Reserved

8 = VersaFEC CCM or ACM (fixed in IP-ACM) (see note)

9 = VersaFEC ULL (see note)

Note: Entries 8 and 9 are valid only in CDM-570A Compatible Mode (CMO=1).

Rx Demod type RMD=

value of 0 thru 5

Sets or returns Rx Demodulation in the form x, where:

0 = BPSK

1 = QPSK

2 = OQPSK

3 = 8PSK

4 = 16QAM

5 = 8-QAM

Note: Selection availability depends on the active FEC type.
