Query
Rx FEC Type
RFT=
1 byte,
value of 0 thru 6
Command or Query.
Sets or returns Rx FEC Type in the form x, where:
0 = None (uncoded – no FEC) with differential encoding ON
1 = Viterbi
2 = Viterbi + Reed-Solomon
3 = Reserved – do not use
4 = Reserved – do not use
5 = TCM + Reed-Solomon
6 = Turbo
7 = Reserved
8 = VersaFEC CCM or ACM (fixed in IP-ACM) (see note)
9 = VersaFEC ULL (see note)
Note: Entries 8 and 9 are valid only in CDM-570A Compatible Mode (CMO=1).
Example: <0/RFT=1 (Viterbi only)
RFT=
RFT?
RFT*
RFT#
RFT+
RFT?
RFT=x
(same format
as command
argument)
Rx Demod type RMD=
1 byte,
value of 0 thru 5
Command or Query.
Sets or returns Rx Demodulation in the form x, where:
0 = BPSK
1 = QPSK
2 = OQPSK
3 = 8PSK
4 = 16QAM
5 = 8-QAM
Note: Selection availability depends on the active FEC type.
Example: <0/RMD=2 (OQPSK)
