6.3.7.7 UTIL: FAST (FAST Code Options)

FAST (Fully Accessible System Topology) provides the means to enable new options in the
modem. Contact Comtech EF Data during normal business hours to obtain the FAST Access
Code for the desired option.
The FAST menu allows you to configure (ENTER) a new FAST Access Code into the modem, view
which options are currently installed, and enable Demo Mode. This screen also identifies the
Hardware Revision Number on the top line, and the Main Board Serial Number on the bottom
line.
The MainBoard Serial Number is a unique identifier for the FAST upgrade process and
is different from the Chassis Serial Number. This number is required in order to obtain
a new FAST Access Code from Comtech EF Data Product Support.
Use the ◄ ► arrow keys to select Cnfg or View. Press ENTER.
