CAUTION – TO ENSURE THAT THE MODEM COMPLIES WITH THESE STANDARDS,

OBEY THESE INSTRUCTIONS:

• Use coaxial cable that is of good quality (e.g., RG58/U (50

Ω) or RG59/U (75Ω)) for

connections to the IF Tx and Rx (transmit and receive) BNC female connectors.

• Use Type 'D' connectors that have back-shells with continuous metallic shielding. Type ‘D’

cabling must have a continuous outer shield (either foil or braid, or both). The shield must

be bonded to the back-shell.
