18.4.3 Parameters and Defined Values
<command>:

command passed on by the MT to the SIM (all other values are

reserved); refer to 3GPP 11.11 [9] (or 3GPP 51.011 [13]).

<fileid>:

identifier of an elementary data file on SIM

mandatory for every command except STATUS

<P1>, <P2>, <P3>: parameters passed on by the MT to the SIM

These parameters are mandatory for every command, except

GET RESPONSE and STATUS. The values are described in 3GPP
11.11 [9] (or 3GPP 51.011 [13]).

integer type

<data>:

information which is to be written to the SIM (hexadecimal

character format; refer to +CSCS)

hexadecimal type

<sw1>, <sw2>:

information from the SIM about the execution of the actual

command

These parameters are delivered to the TE in both cases, on

successful or failed execution of the command.

integer type

<response>:

response to successful completion of the command previously

issued (hexadecimal character format; refer to +CSCS)

STATUS and GET RESPONSE return data, which gives

information about the current elementary data field. This

information includes the file type and size (refer to 3GPP [9]

11.11 (or 3GPP 51.011[13]). After the READ BINARY or READ
RECORD command, the requested data will be returned.
