This section describes commands used to configure Layer 3 Internet Group
Management Protocol (IGMP) on the switch.

ip igmp

This command enables IGMP on a VLAN interface. Use the no form of this

command to disable IGMP on the specified interface.

IGMP (including query functions) can be enabled for specific VLAN

interfaces at Layer 3 through the ip igmp command.

When a multicast routing protocol, such as PIM, is enabled, IGMP is

also enabled.
