ipv6 pim graft-retry-

interval

This command configures the time to wait for a Graft acknowledgement

before re-sending a Graft. Use the no form to restore the default value.

A graft message is sent by a router to cancel a prune state. When a router

receives a graft message, it must respond with an graft acknowledgement

message. If this acknowledgement message is lost, the router that sent

the graft message will resend it a number of times (as defined by the

ipv6

pim max-graft-retries

command).

The designated PIM6-SM router. If multicast hosts are directly

connected to the LAN, then only one of these routers is elected as

the DR, and acts on behalf of these hosts, sending periodic Join/

Prune messages toward a group-specific RP for each group.
