Selecting the recording time/sample rate

How to select the recording time and the sample rate:

1. Go to the Horizontal group box and select the desired time base from the Time

base list field.
• The current time base setting multiplied by ten results in the recording time.
• Since the measured data memory of the regenerative power supply module has

a limited capacity, a compromise must be found between the sample rate and

the recording time.

2. Enter the desired sample rate in [ms] in the Sample rate input field of the Recording

group box.

• Clicking the

button to the right of the Sample rate input field opens the

Sample rate dialog box where you can additionally select the Increased sample

rate option:

Note!

Due to system-inherent reasons, only integer multiples of 1/(sample rate in ms)

are recorded when the Increased sample rate option has been selected.
• As a complete representation in the oscillograph requires (10 * 1/(sample rate

in ms)) + 1 measured values, the last measured value is always lacking and

the represented curve ends at the second to last measured value.

• The recorded curve is not expanded or compressed.
