The 32 subcodes represent the nodes to be monitored by means of heartbeat.

• Each subcode entry contains a bit code that specifies the expected "heartbeat" time and the node ID (node

address) from which the heartbeat telegram is expected.

• The parameterised time is rounded down to an integer multiple of 5 ms. Its value must be higher than the

heartbeat producer time of the node to be monitored.

• The response to a non-received heartbeat telegram can be parameterised in

.
