Hover node over connector link to auto connect
• Right click on the node graph to add a node and move it over a connector link for auto
connection
• + icon indicates auto connect is available, release mouse to connect
HDR source icon in color page timeline thumbnails
• High dynamic range r3d clips are indentified by an HDR icon on the timeline thumbnail
• These clips have a second ‘short exposure’ node graph input available for use to permit the full
HDRx dynamic range to be used
Layer node composite effects
• Offers colorists greater creative grading control with:
• Add
• Subtract
• Difference
• Multiply
• Screen
• Overlay
• Darker and lighten effects
Copy and paste node grading metadata between nodes including dynamics
• Makes copying grades between nodes easier and faster
• On Mac, use Command C and Command V
• On Linux, use Control C and Control V
• If destination clip is shorter than source clip the dynamics are applied from the first frame with
the duration as the destination clip permits
• Also copies tracking metadata
Clip based Auto/Video/Data level selection
• Auto mode matches source clip or user selectable scaling to alternate level
• Right click in the Media Pool to select normally scaled video or full data levels by clip or group
of clips
