Programming the IntelliVAC Base Module
The IntelliVAC base module firmware is updated using the RS-485
terminal on either an IntelliVAC MC, or an IntelliVAC Plus board.
In order to perform a firmware update on the IntelliVAC Base
module you will require the following:
1. Either an MC or IE board
2. An RS-485 to RS-232 converter
3. RS-232 cable
4. A personal computer with a functional serial port.
Programming the IB using an IE Board
In order to flash firmware to the base module using the IntelliVAC
Plus module take the following steps.

Power down the unit.

Remove The RS-485 link that goes from the IE module to any
other MC modules, and connect this cable to the RS-485 to RS-232
converter per the following picture.
