Description of Features

1503-UM054C-EN-P – June 2013

Line Undervoltage

This is a Warning condition which may not be rectified by the user.

Check input line voltage levels and rectify if possible.

The line mains input voltage has gone to a voltage level of <95Vrms

when the contactor is initiating a close cycle or the input voltage has

gone below a voltage level of 80Vrms when the contactor is in a hold

cycle.

If the Time Delay Undervoltage (TDUV) feature is enabled (see

Appendix B) them the contactor will remain energized for as long as

the TDUV feature is set (see Appendix B).

The Line Undervoltage warning is an aggregate warning for each of

the five (5) IB units.

The Plus status LED is pulsing Green with a pattern of 3 pulses.

Line Overvoltage

This is a Warning condition which may not be rectified by the user.

Check the input line voltage levels and rectify if possible.

The line input voltage has gone to a voltage level of >265Vrms

which may be a dangerous voltage level for the IntelliVAC Plus unit.

If the input line voltage exceeds 280Vrms then the integrity of the

product will be jeopardized and a critical failure may occur.
The Line Overvoltage warning is an aggregate warning for each of

the five (5) IB units.
The Plus status LED is pulsing Green with a pattern of 4 pulses.

Extended Close Time

This is a Warning condition used as a wear indicator of the contactor

over its lifetime which may not be rectified by the user. Check the

mechanical condition of the contactor.

The close time of the contactor has increased to a value beyond the

normally accepted time of 90mS to a value >150mS (see Table 4.G

for maximum close values for each contactor).

The Extended Close Time warning is an aggregate warning for each

of the five (5) IB units.

The Plus status LED is pulsing Green with a pattern of 5 pulses.
