1. Upload Logic

To upload logic click the Upload Logic icon or alternatively

select Communications> Upload. The logic configuration in

the device is read and displayed in the Function Block Editor.

Any unsaved changes will be discarded and Online Animation

Begins.

When you upload, the uploaded information is not automatically

stored into the RSNetWorx for DeviceNet software .dnt file.

You must make sure that you save any changes after you exit the

DeviceLogix Editor to ensure that any changes made to the

schematic are saved, including changes made as a result of an

upload.

2. Download Logic

To download logic, click the Download Logic icon, or

alternatively select Communications > Download. The logic

configuration in the Function Block Editor is duplicated and

transferred to the device. Before a download can be performed,

the logic must pass the verification process. See Verify Logic

for more information.

3. Logic Enable On

Use the Logic Enable On icon or alternatively select
Communications> Logic Enable On

in order to begin logic

execution. When set this parameter notifies the device to start

processing the stored logic diagram.

4. Logic Enable Off

Use the Logic Enable Off icon or alternatively
Communications > Logic Enable Off

in order to stop logic

execution. When set this parameter causes the device to enter an

idle state.

5. Compare Logic

Use the Compare option to determine if the logic in the Function

Block Editor matches the logic in the device. The results of the

comparison display in a pop up window. To use the compare

function select the Compare Logic icon, or select Tools >
Compare.
