In Figure 9.18, the “Stop” output tag is connected to the hardware
input “DLX input 1” and the “protection status” output tag is tied to
hardware input “DLX input 2”. The associated “stop” and
“protection status” bits are then used to control the status of one of
the relay outputs of the IntelliVAC Plus module.

Note
: None of these status bits will be set without first connecting it
to an input tag. All of the bits noted above will not be applicable to
any situation.
