Incorrect MC R

TERM

Installed

This is a Fault condition and indicates that there is an incorrectly

enabled RS485 termination resistor installed in an MC system.

In an MC system, where an IntelliVAC Plus and one or more

IntelliVAC MC units are installed, there must be a termination

resistor enabled on the last IntelliVAC MC unit in the system.

Therefore, for a two unit system, i.e. one IntelliVAC Plus and one

IntelliVAC MC unit, the termination resistor must be enabled on the

IntelliVAC MC unit.
Note:

There is no provision to install a termination resistor on the

IntelliVAC Plus unit as this unit already has this resistor permanently

installed.
