To set a sequence marker, select the Program Monitor or Timeline panel.

2. Move the current-time indicator to where you want to set the marker.

3. Choose Marker > Set Clip Marker or Marker > Set Sequence Marker, and choose an option in the submenu:

Sets a numbered marker using the lowest unused number.

Opens a dialog box in which you can specify any unused number from 0 to 99.

Create markers in the Effect Controls panel

In the Effect Controls panel, you can view all of the markers that you created in the Timeline panel. You can also add markers to your sequence to
designate where you would like to place effects in the Effect Controls panel. In addition, you can create and manipulate markers directly in the
Effect Controls panel.

1. Drag the playhead to the place where you want to create a marker.

2. Right-click (Windows) or Control-click (Mac OS) in the timeline ruler. Then, select Add Marker, or press the M key.

In Premiere Pro CS5.5, and earlier, select Set Sequence Marker, and then choose the type of marker you want to set.

Find, move, and delete markers

You can find markers by using the marker navigation tools. You can move them from their original locations by dragging them, or you can delete
them altogether.

Navigate among markers

1. Click the marker icon.

2. Do one of the following:

Select Marker > Go to Next Marker.

Select Marker > Go to Previous Marker.

In Premiere Pro CS5.5 and earlier, do one of the following:

Select Marker > Sequence Marker > Go to Next.

Select Marker > Sequence Marker > Go to Previous.

Go to a clip or sequence marker in a Timeline panel (CS5.5, and earlier versions)

Do one of the following:

To cue the playhead to a clip marker, select the clip in the sequence and choose Marker > Go To Clip Marker > [marker].
