[Start]
Starts the measurement of the sample spectrum. Only active if a reference
spectrum is available.
[Stop]
Stops the measurement of the sample spectrum.

If in the subwindow for the device selection, an IO controller or a stepping
motor is selected, then the device tree will be extended by the connected
inputs and outputs and the stepping motors.
