halt

Privileged Exec Mode Commands

Stops (halts) a device (access point, wireless controller, or service platform). Once halted, the
system must be restarted manually.

This command stops the device immediately. No indications or notifications are provided while the
device shuts down.

Access Points — Brocade Mobility 650 Access Point, Brocade Mobility 6511 Access Point,
Brocade Mobility 1220 Access Point, Brocade Mobility 71XX Access Point, Brocade
Mobility 1240 Access Point

Wireless Controllers — Brocade Mobility RFS4000, Brocade Mobility RFS6000, Brocade

Syntax:

halt {on <DEVICE-NAME>}

Parameters

cf:

Erases everything in the device's cf: file

flash:

Erases everything in the device’s flash: file

nvram:

Erases everything in the device’s nvram: file

startup-config

Erases the device’s startup configuration file. The startup configuration file is used to configure the device
when it reboots.

usb1:

Erases everything in the device's usb1: file
