join-cluster
Adds a device (access point, wireless controller, or service platform), as cluster member, to an
existing cluster of devices. Assign a static IP address to the device before adding to a cluster.
Supported in the following platforms:
•
Wireless Controllers — Brocade Mobility RFS4000, Brocade Mobility RFS6000, Brocade
Mobility RFS7000
•
Service Platforms — Brocade Mobility RFS9510
Syntax:
join-cluster <IP> user <USERNAME> password <WORD> {level|mode}
join-cluster <IP> user <USERNAME> password <WORD> {level [1|2]|mode
[active|standby]}

join-cluster <IP> user <USERNAME> password <WORD> {level [1|2]|mode
[active|standby]}
Usage Guidelines:
To add a device to an existing cluster:
•
Configure a static IP address on the device (access point, wireless controller, or service
platform).
•
Provide username and password for superuser, network admin, system admin, or operator
accounts.

Halts a specified device
•
on <DEVICE-NAME> – Optional. Enter the name of the AP, wireless controller, or service platform.
If the device name is not specified, the logged device is halted.
join-cluster
Adds a access point, wireless controller, or service platform to an existing cluster
<IP>
Specify the cluster member’s IP address.
user <USERNAME>
Specify a user account with super user privileges on the new cluster member.
password <WORD>
Specify password for the account specified in the user parameter.
level [1|2]
Optional. Configures the routing level
•
1 – Configures level 1 routing
•
2 – Configures level 2 routing
mode [active|standby]
Optional. Configures the cluster mode
•
active – Configures cluster mode as active
•
standby – Configures cluster mode as standby
