Syntax:

telnet <IP/HOSTNAME> {<TCP-PORT>}

Parameters

telnet <IP/HOSTNAME> {<TCP-PORT>}

Example

rfs4000-229D58>telnet 192.168.13.9

Entering character mode

Escape character is '^]'.

[<IP/HOSTNAME>]

Specify the IP address or hostname of the remote system.

<USERNAME>

Specify the name of the user requesting SSH connection with the remote system.

<IP/HOSTNAME>

Configures the destination remote system’s IP address or hostname. The Telnet session is established
between the connecting system and the remote system.

<IP/HOSTNAME> – Specify the remote system’s IP address or hostname.

<TCP-PORT>

Optional. Specify the Transmission Control Protocol (TCP) port number.
