The following table summarizes NAT pool configuration commands.

address

nat-pool-config-instance

Configures NAT pool of IP addresses

Define a range of IP addresses hidden from the public Internet. NAT modifies network address
information in the defined IP range while in transit across a traffic routing device. NAT only provides
IP address translation and does not provide a firewall. A branch deployment with NAT by itself will
not block traffic from being potentially routed through a NAT device. Consequently, NAT should be
deployed with a stateful firewall.

Supported in the following platforms:

Access Points — Brocade Mobility 650 Access Point, Brocade Mobility 6511 Access Point,
Brocade Mobility 1220 Access Point, Brocade Mobility 71XX Access Point, Brocade
Mobility 1240 Access Point

Wireless Controllers — Brocade Mobility RFS4000, Brocade Mobility RFS6000, Brocade
Mobility RFS7000
