Release the cables from the hooks in five locations.

Loosen the four screws affixing the cooling fan unit.

Disconnect the three pluggable connectors and remove the fan unit from the drive.

Connect the relay connectors for the fans in the replacement fan unit.
Note: Replace the whole unit when performing maintenance on the cooling fans.
