Record selection (Positioning mode)

A positioning task in record selection mode is described by a
record of nominal values.

In the “operation enabled” state, a record can be started via
the record number. This function is usually used for:

Moving to any position in the record list by the PLC

Processing a positioning profile by linking records

Known target positions that seldom change (change of
formula).

Sequence

1. Set the desired set number in the master's output data.

Up till the start, the controller continues to respond with
the number of the record last executed.

2. With a rising edge at START (CPOS.B1) the controller

accepts the record number and starts the positioning
task.

3. The controller signals with the rising edge on Acknow-

ledge Start that the PLC output data have been accepted
and that the positioning task is now active. The posi-
tioning command is executed regardless of whether Start
(CPOS.B1) has been reset to zero or not.

4. When the record is concluded, MC (SPOS.B2) is set.
