History Record—Click the History Record icon

to view the history graph of the CPU usage

ratio of the monitored process. Point to a spot on the curve to view the data at the specific time

point. Authorized users can view CPU usage statistics over the last 1 hour, last 6 hours, today,

yesterday, this week, this month, and this year by clicking the corresponding icons. You can

only view the change trend of the CPU usage of a process that has a unique process name.

Memory Usage—Memory usage ratio of the monitored process in the last APM polling period.

I/O State

APM can monitor the I/O status of the disk drivers in the Solaris system, as shown in

Figure 87

.

I/O State area fields:

Device Name—Name of the disk drivers in the Solaris system.

IO Read Rate—Size of the input/output data in the disk driver per second.

IO Write Rate—Size of the input data in the disk driver per second.

FreeBSD

FreeBSD's performance and stability can greatly affect the performance of applications or services
running on it. APM provides the ability to monitor FreeBSD 8.2 or later versions of the operating system.

Adding a FreeBSD application monitor

APM monitors FreeBSD operating systems through CLI. When you add application monitors for FreeBSD,
follow these guidelines:

Enable Telnet or SSH on FreeBSD. For more information, see the FreeBSD configuration guide.

Obtain the correct username and password of the Telnet or SSH user who has the FreeBSD
administrator's privileges
